After nearly 70 years in seawater, much remains of T9044, 65 feet down on the seabed of the Milford Haven Waterway. Divers are always impressed by the sheer scale of the wreck. Mud and sediment has accumulated in and around the aircraft, helping to preserve the structure. It is a time capsule of the wartime RAF.

The Montana was a Mississippi and Missouri River stern-wheel steamboat, one of three "mega-steamboats" built in 1879 during the steamboat era on the Missouri River. It was a hundred yards long, 49 feet wide and weighed 1000 tons. In the summer of 2012, unusually low water levels in the Missouri exposed the remains of the Montana. About 180 feet of the ship's hull lies intact, locked in the grip of pure clay. The bow was sheared off and has not been found. The Montana represented the last days of a once-glorious steamboat industry that helped fuel the explosive growth of the American West. The boat was built with a lavish ballroom to please wealthy passengers, and enough cargo space to compete with railroads, which were well on the way to killing the steamboat industry. But the Misso...

An episode of the History Channel's "Deep Sea Detectives" from 2003 explores the story the slave ship Henrietta Marie. The Henrietta Marie was a London-based slaver that sailed in the Triangular Trade between England, Africa, and the Americas from 1697-1700. The ship was wrecked near Key West, Florida in the summer of 1700, after having sold nearly 200 African people in Jamaica. The shipwreck site has been the subject of extensive archaeological study, and this program provides an overview of that research.
